By day, take the family for a bike ride on the picturesque paved side roads nearby. As dusk falls, gather your family around the fire bowl for a cozy campfire. Share stories, roast marshmallows, or simply gaze up at the stars. Families adore Red Bay for its remarkable sunsets and safe, shallow waters. Its breezy beach is also a windsurfer's dream. A quick two-minute walk will take you to the enchanting Earthbound Gardens, and a ten-minute drive brings you to Sauble Beach, offering a more vibrant beach scene, shopping, and dining options. Our open-plan living area is designed as the heart of the home. Here, you'll find two distinctive spaces: a sunlit room equipped with a cozy sofa and armchairs for laid-back afternoons, and a living room boasting a 60" flat screen TV – perfect for unforgettable family movie nights by the warmth of our stone gas fireplace. A collection of board games invites you for memorable family competitions, and the large windows ensure an abundance of natural light while providing scenic views of the nearby lake.

We've conveniently positioned a three-piece bathroom adjacent to the back door for quick, sandy rinses after a fun day at the beach. When the months warm up, the outdoor shower offers an invigorating experience with a touch of nature, without compromising your privacy.
On the upper level, you'll find two cozy bedrooms and a two-piece bathroom. The master bedroom offers a queen-sized bed for a restful night, while the second room features a comfortable double bed. Full laundry facilities ensure your needs are met, and we can provide a double futon for larger families.
The bunkie house offers a great breakout space with 2 queen sized beds, another TV and a 3 piece bathroom. |
The well-equipped kitchen comes complete with a wide array of cookware, a double sink, a flat top stove, and ample storage space, making meal preparation a breeze. The traditional pine dining table is the ideal spot for lively family meals, surrounded by windows for you to keep an eye on the kids as they frolic by the water's edge.

If you're interested in getting out and about during your stay, the Bruce Peninsula always has something going. Seeing that we're open 365 days a year, this makes Red Bay Getaway the perfect location for a variety of activities.

Explore the Bruce is a terrific website that lists many great places to see and things to do in Bruce County.
1. Sauble Beach is a more lively area with tourists shopping and restaurants in the warmer months and is located only 10 minutes away. 2. Wiarton is a quaint town on Georgian Bay and is also only 10 minutes away. There you will find some shopping and places to eat all year round. 3. Owen Sound is a 30 minute drive southeast of Red Bay Getaway. There you will find everything you need in a town of 30 000 people. 4. Tobermory is about 40 minutes north of Red Bay Getaway and is a popular tourist destination (albeit a bit chilly waters for swimming). The Bruce Trail offers walks for all ability levels and some simply spectacular views. It also hosts some fantastic biking trails. |
